60-Year-Old Australian Man Fights for His Life Against a Wombat
After losing his home to bush fires, a 60-year-old man had to reside in a caravan while his home was being repaired. As he stepped out of the door of his mobile home, he accidentally trod on a wombat.he creature curiously reacted and repeatedly made an enraged attack and managed to drag the guy down to the floor, wounding his arms and legs. The struggle lasted for approximately twenty minutes.

By some luck, the 60-year-old managed to grab hold of a hatchet and kill the wombat. The man was taken to a nearby hospital and received treatment for arm and leg bites.

The group "Unite Against Fascism” was in Dudley in the West Midlands this morning followed by the English Defence League (EDL) this afternoon. EDL was in protest against the government´s nod to a huge mosque being built which the Dudley council had previously refused.

Minor chaos broke out as barriers fell amongst the crowd when demonstrators escaped as they were being led back towards the coaches. Five suspects were detained for being in possession of illegal weapons.

Hong Kong: 62-year-old Chin Wei was rushed to a hospital after a suicide attempt involving a cucumber that didn´t have the fatal ending he sought.

Chin decided he wanted to commit hara-kiri, a Japanese suicide ritual, but instead of plunging a sword into his abdomen as is traditional, he plunged a cucumber into his backside.

His daughter discovered him covered in blood and summoned emergency services. Doctors extracted the cucumber and Chin is currently recovering from a severe anal tear.
